 Dr. Jorge Minera was born and raised in Guatemala. He received his Bachelors Degree from
the Universidad de San Carlos also in Guatemala. Dr. Minera did his residency at Warren Hospital in Phillipsburg
New Jersey where he also served as Chief Resident. He later became the Assistant Director at Warren Hospital Family
Practice Residency (an affiliate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School) from 2004 to 2008 and at the same time,
also served as a research coordinator at the Family Practice Residency. His interests include women's health issues
and sports medicine. Dr. Minera is married to his wife Soledad and has one child, Sophia. His personal interests
are the Triathlon and Iron Man competitions where he has multiple finishes in both the Iron Man & Half Iron
Man races. Dr. Minera is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to serving the Fauquier community. |
