13. What do I do for medical help after hours?
Illness doesn't always abide by a 9 to 5 schedule. Piedmont Family
Practice has a physician available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you have an urgent
medical problem we recommend you contact our after hours clinic Family Docs On Call (hours M-F 4 PM to 9 PM; Sat
8 AM to 8 PM; Sun 10 AM to 6 PM) at 540-341-1734.
For urgent, acute problems only, a physician may be reached by calling our main number at (540) 347-4400. A physician
will return your call in an expeditious manner. Please be respectful of this after hours service for urgent problems
only.
Otherwise a doctor can be contacted by dialing 540-347-4400 and following the prompts.
