New Opportunities to Better Serve our PFP Families

Here at Piedmont Family Practice your health is our top priority. Starting Thursday, March 26, 2020 we will be implementing two new processes to help ensure your wellness.

1.  When calling to schedule appointments you will now have an option to schedule a Tele-Health visit pending  approval from your physician.  For more information on how this works and the consent form, please go to New Patients and Patient Forms

2.  Beginning, Thursday, 3/26, East Pod providers to include:  Dr. von Elten, Dr. Diwan, Annie Pratt, PA-C, Angelina Harman, FNP Kami Whitney,  PA-C will be utilizing their Pod to accommodate NON COVID-19 patient visits ONLY.

When entering the East Pod, a nurse will be screening every patient prior to entering the building for an elevated temperature. Any patients with COVID-19 symptoms (fever, respiratory complaints, new onset cough) will be referred to our Urgent Care Facility downstairs.  Patients coming in for wellness and routine visits for medication refills (blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid and lipids) or coming in for other illnesses such as possible UTI, allergies, etc will be seen by their provider within the East Pod.  This is collaborative effort to triage our patients more effectively, and to separate the sick versus well population.

All other providers in other pods within Piedmont Family Practice will be conducting business as usual.

Thank you for continued patience and understanding as we work diligently to keep our staff and patients healthy through the Coronavirus pandemic.
